The Alabama Medicaid Agency solicits
bids for the provision of eyewear
materials to Medicaid recipients
eligible to receive optometric benefits.
Through a contractual relationship for
these services, Medicaid strives to
provide eye care for its beneficiaries
comparable to that of the general
public. The successful bidder will be
responsible for furnishing eyeglasses
that meet all federal, state, and Agency
standards. In addition, selection of
frames provided will meet the needs for
eligible Medicaid men, women, teens, and
children.
