Medicaid covers ambulance transportation to and from medical facilities for eligible recipients. Approved services include ambulance service for emergency and non-emergency situations as well as non-emergency transportation coordinated by the Alabama Medicaid Agency’s Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) program.
